Raquel G is a first-time author who found her voice through the power of truth and healing. With no prior writing experience, she bravely wrote This Is Not My Mother (I Was Raised by a Narcissistic Mom and Didn’t Know It), a deeply personal memoir about the emotional impact of growing up with a narcissistic mother. As a single mother herself, Raquel raised her daughter with love, strength, and a desire to break the cycle of emotional pain. Her daughter is now grown and happily married, which Raquel sees as one of her proudest accomplishments.
Raquel was inspired to share her story because she believes maternal narcissism is a real but often overlooked problem. Many people are uncomfortable talking about it, but she knows that bringing it to light is the first step toward healing. Raquel hopes her book will help women of all ages recognize the signs of narcissistic parenting and learn how to overcome its long-lasting effects.
